The BBC 500 word writing competition is back - for its 5th year, bigger and better than ever! Children from ages 5 to 13 can enter. The final will be held at St James Palace, with the Dutchess of Cornwall and a host of top celebs - to find out more, follow the link to the competition here.
All you have to do is write a fictional story in 500 words. The deadline is Thursday 26th February. The top 50 authors will all be invited to the 500 Words Final on Friday 29th May to hear the winners announced live on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show - it sounds fantastic ... so get writing!
